News Years Resolution: Keep Up the Blog!
Blogging is an easy way to document what's going on when life seems to be flying by too fast, so of course blogging is big in the Mommy community. Keep a blog privately just for you, or share it with family and friends. Blogging is awesome because it can be shared here-and-now, but also because blogs can be printed and you can have a hard copy of your memories for generations to come. Whoever you choose to share your blog with, you'll be glad you kept a place to write down your thoughts and memories.
Two things busy Moms need: convince and low cost - Dotty Dot Dot - FREE Blogger Backgrounds, Reviews & Giveaways has BOTH. FREE blogger backgrounds that are easy to use. When you stop by the site be sure to check out and enter the current giveaway (more free things, YES!).
It's easy to fall behind on blogging. Here's something I do on my own personal blog. At the end of the year I schedule draft posts for the next year. The posts waiting in draft serve as placeholders for all the posts that will be published that year (namely; holiday posts, birthday posts and any vacations or special posts I know I'll have to do that year). I write and publish a gaggle of posts at the END of every month. So, at the end of the month I open my draft posts and open the 'placeholder' posts for that month. I then fill in the information on each post and publish, publish, publish. Some months have 5 posts all at once, some have 10+ - just depending on what went on that month. My followers know my posting routine and when it's time to check my blog. Once the system is down it's fine tuned clockwork. It all works out swimmingly and helps me stay organized and on top of things. It just a tip, I hope I've helped out some. Happy blogging!
